AWS Testing Engineer JD
Good working knowledge on the AWS cloud platform Services, well aware of the usage of these services. • Good working knowledge on DevOps tools like Jenkins, Jira, Ansible, Terraform, CFT etc • Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python etc • Experience in Infrastructure build and testing • Project development and leadership skills are essential in planning and overseeing project tests • Drafts proposals for testing programs and operating procedures; outlines the specific testing conditions to be applied. • Tests new platform solutions; develops systems to gather digital data during testing. • Studies the data gathered during testing and evaluates the validity of the results. • Identifies any problems with new products; makes adjustments or recommendations to resolve problems. • Continues testing and analysis until results are within platform requirements and design specifications. • Drafts detailed technical reports to present findings; based on findings, recommends modifications needed to correct production problems. • Develops ongoing quality control testing procedures to be incorporated into the regular production process. • Good working knowledge on the AWS cloud platform Services, well aware of the usage of these services.
• Good working knowledge on DevOps tools like Jenkins, Jira, Ansible, Terraform, CFT etc • Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python etc • Come up with the use cases by understanding the infrastructure requirement, co-ordinate with end users, work with AWS engineering / Operations / Security / compliance and support team for all the relevant use cases. • Write test case to test and qualify the platform solution on the grounds or Architecture, ease of use by operations, adhering to security and compliance aspects, ensuring the solution captures various usecases. • Ensure the usecases are documented in Design Specification. • Ensure KBA has all the Steps for the defined usecases in the Design Specification Document. • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures • Advanced understanding Experience with platform engineering, customer experience and design architecture • Work closely with Scrum Master and Product Manager for prioritization of release items and Sprint planning. • Work in close collaboration with Architects, Design Experts and Operations to integrate new solutions and perform post release L3/L4 operational support • Support Cloud product releases and enhancements. • Transform requirements for new capabilities or changes from architects, operations or customers to include them in the IQ/OQ
