To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Proficient in English
  • +2 years experience as DevOps
  • Hands-on experience working with containers (Docker) and orchestrators (Kubernetes, docker swarm, etc.)
  • Experience in migrations of applications to Cloud Native
  • Hands-on experience with private cloud distributions of OpenStack and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience working with configuration management tools (Ansible) to automate tasks in clusters of servers
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud hyper-scalers
  • Able to prove proficiency on Sw transformation to cloud-native applications: what patters and anti-patterns use and to be able to show a success case where he/she participate on a Sw Product re-architecture to cloud-native
  • Good skills with SQL databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, etc)
  • Able to prove proficiency in cloud-native troubleshoot, tools supporting cloud-native operations and release, impact on methods and procedures on cloud vs monolithic

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiar with the agile methodologies and DevOps
  • Be able to differentiate traditional monolithic architecture vs distributed ones
  • Understand what microservices are and why the trouble to do all that
  • Knowledge of open-source big data and ML platform tools (Hadoop, Spark, Impala, etc.)
  • Knowledge of open-source backend support sub-systems and tools (eg DNS, Grafana, LDAP, Nginx, Apache, Zabbix, ELK, etc
  • Good knowledge of hardware infrastructure, virtualized environments and clouds
  • Understanding distributed systems, high-availability, scalability, disaster recovery
  • Good knowledge of hardware infrastructure, virtualized environments (KVM, VMware) and cloud
